Cassini I - Gaspari I - Reichgraf
16.1h 2009 Holsteiner mare (stamm 563)
Belle Annee is an imported Holsteiner mare who has a good frame, an uphill build, as well as powerful, elastic, and balanced gaits. This mare competed in dressage after her arrival in North America. Belle is an uncomplicated and sweet soul with a forward attitude. While she only competed in dressage, we strive to produce higher-level hunter/jumper sport horses with this mare.
Belle's sire, Cassini I, is one of the most successful Holsteiner stallions. Sired by Capitol I out of the mare Wisma, who is a daughter of Caletto II, he was made of a proven combination to produce excellent jumpers. The grey stallion looked good at his licensing, especially in the free jumping, and followed that up with the fourth best score of his stallion test at Adelheidsdorf the next year. Cassini had success on the open circuit, placing in the Grand Prix of Münster, Kiel, Neumünster, and Hamburg. He was part of the winning Danish Nations Cup team in Helsinki and represented Denmark at the European Championships. As a sire, Cassini has bred many outstanding progeny, notable offspring including Ingmar, Eurocommerce Berlin, Coco, Cavalor Cumano, Carino, and Olympic.
Belle's dam, Jade III, is a daughter of the Holsteiner stallion Gaspari I. Gaspari competed up to the 1.40m level. This stallion produced the 1.60m jumper Guiscard (out of a Landgraf mare) and a few 1.40 jumpers like Gerry 79 (out of a Reichsgraf mare). Gaspari proved himself as an excellent dam sire, with one of his most notable grandsons being Quisandro (by Quintero), a 1.60m jumper who competed in the very best tournaments, including Wellington, Jerez de la Frontera, Abu Dhabi, and Doha Al Shagab. Gaspari I is also the dam sire of the approved stallion Cabardino (by Carpaccio), one of the flagship horses of W Charlot Farm in Ontario, Canada.
Belle's second dam, Elysee, is by Reichsgraf. Reichsgraf (Rinaldo / Landgraf I) was a promising Holsteiner stallion who died after only a couple of seasons. This stallion produced a few 1.60m jumpers and high-level dressage horses. He is also the dam sire of a few famous stallions like Contendro, Carentano, Cassino, Landal, and Clear. Elysee had two offspring who competed up to the 1.35m level: Casall (Cassini) and Olga IV (Ariadus).
