PREMIUM Westfalen filly
DOB July 25th, 2021
Valkyrie is a upper level jumper prospect who could also become a competitive hunter or dressage partner. This elegant filly received a PREMIUM mention during her Westfalen inspection with great comments about her conformation and quality of gaits. Valkyrie is a keen and curious filly who enjoys human presence. This filly will turn heads with her elegant conformation, strong gaits and flashy markings. She should mature around 16.2h.
Her sire, Copabella Visage, had an impressive career. His performances include Champion of Champions at Dressage and Showjumping as a 5 years old, Champion Young Event Horse at Sydney Royal, several wins and placings at Grand Prix and World Cup level in Australia and in Europe and member of the winning Nations Cup team for France in Istanbul. This stallion is a wonderful example of the modern sporthorse; great bone, athletic frame, movement and paces that dressage judges are seriously impressed by. His progeny, competing in Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Europe, provide ample evidence of his strong breeding credentials, with multiple success stories in all three Olympic disciplines as well as the breed show world.
Her dam, Aicha, is a stunning eye-catching mare with impressive gaits, a lot of scope over fences and a sweet disposition. Her sire, Conquest Van de Helle, was 2005 S.B.S. Stallion Approval Champion in Belgium where he gained the AA-label for his magnificent model and incredible jumping abilities. His sire Corrado I is one of the most appreciated Holsteiner stallions. After being successful on the international level with Franke Sloothaak, winning several World Cup qualifiers, and being the stallion that won the most prize money as an approved stallion, Corrado I is now a revelation as producer of many Grand Prix performers & having many approved stallions. His dam, Florida II, herself National Champion on 1.45m level, is sired by Calando I, who also jumped at Grand Prix level and was world famous with Karsten Huck and was also team bronze medal winner at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich with Edgar-Henry Cueper. Aicha's dam Armandine is by Alexis Z out of a Pilot mare. Alexis Z (by Alme) earned 15 wins at S-level, sired 20 licensed stallions, and his offspring have won over 1.3million euro in sport. Pilot was the first showjumping stallion with progeny to earn one million Deutschmarks. Armandine produced the approved stallion Talisman. Talisman is part of the Hiltop Farm's stallions roster and had many placings in the young jumper division.
This filly has it all for a promising career as a sporthorse. She could also be an excellent addition to a serious breeding program.
